Greetings, wanted to let everyone know that didn't already that I'll be hosting a station for winter field day! The fun starts at 11am on Saturday, January 24th. Anyone and everyone is welcome. This will be an outdoor station, so dress extra warm. There will be Brunswick stew, local BBQ, adult/non-adult beverages.

We will be operating from a covered carport solely on "alternative power". I have a 2000 watt inverter generator that is safe for electronics. As well as deep cycle batteries and solar generators. I have a couple fold up tables, but I'd strongly recommend bringing a camp chair and an extension cord/power strip or two.

Feel free to bring propane heaters, or anything else to Make you comfortable in the outdoors. My house is very secure and secluded if anyone wants to set up antennas or radios ahead of time. The rules state the earliest we can set up is 11am the Friday before. I'll be cooking all morning, so feel free to come a little before 11am if you've got a lot of set up.

My QTH is registered on the winter field day site. Again, all are welcome. Hope to see y'all there.
